BAKABU finds a circus trunk in the attic and sets out to follow in the footsteps of his great-great-great-grandfather, the great Bakabuletti. Together with the children, he discovers the world of the circus, explores the contents of the trunk, and shares his circus skills with everyone. On November 21 and 22, 2026, the historic downtown area of Eggenburg will be transformed into a festive Advent setting. Admission is free.
Around the main square, visitors can enjoy a diverse Advent market featuring regional handicrafts, Christmas tree decorations, pastries, roasted chestnuts, and mulled wine. A varied program of events—including concerts, readings, workshops, and craft demonstrations—creates a special atmosphere both outdoors and in the historic indoor spaces.
On Sunday, the popular themed city tours titled “Christmas in the Middle Ages” will also take place.
